This photography gallery features sequence images of lions hunting in the African Savanna.
1) Three male lions hunting an African water buffalo: in this sequence three male lions tried to make a kill, unfortunately for them, the buffalo was covered in mud and was too slippery for the lion claws.
2) In the second sequence, the lioness crawled next to my car and to position herself at a perfect striking distance which ended as a successful kill of a young zebra.
3) In the final sequence, a lioness waited hid for nearly two hours and slowly crawled almost next to her prey, a wildebeest, to successfully bring her down. Later a pack of hyenas tried to take the prey away; luckily, two more lionesses came to the rescue.
